Why the Pregnancy Resource Center?

Pregnancy related issues often throw men and women into an emotional spin.  Whether the issue is related to a current unplanned pregnancy, problems from past pregnancy choices, or pressure for singles to be sexually active, people need a clear point of reference from which to make sensible decisions.

Foundation

PRC is a place of support to those women with unplanned pregnancies or problems for which they need mentoring.  We try to provide whatever forms of support may be necessary to enable her to carry her child to term and plan constructively for her care.

We are committed to creating an awareness within Delta County the pressures facing women and their families with unplanned pregnancies.  Although we believe that abortion compounds, rather than solves, the problems associated with unplanned pregnancies, our position is not to judge but rather to encourage healthy choices.  For this reason we do not advise, provide or refer for abortion.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

 

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired,  only infallible authoritative word of God

  • We believe that there is ONE God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit

  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in the power and glory

  • We believe that for the salvation of the lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential and that this salvation is received through the faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and not as a result of good works

  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life and to perform good works

  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; that they are saved unto the resurrection of life and that they are lost unto the resurrection of damnation

  • We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
