Why the Pregnancy Resource Center?
Pregnancy related issues often throw men and women into an emotional spin. Whether the issue is related to a current unplanned pregnancy, problems from past pregnancy choices, or pressure for singles to be sexually active, people need a clear point of reference from which to make healthy decisions for themselves.
Sheri Fisher, Director
Hello! I am married with two boys, 3 horses, 1 dog, and one opinionated cat. We have enjoyed being in Western Colorado since 2005. I became a Christian in 1996. Being here at the PRC I want to help women be the best possible mothers they can be just as I'm trying to do the same in my own life. Let me know how I can be of service to you.
What is our foundation?
PRC is an extension of Christ's love to those women with unplanned pregnancies and other issues or problems for which they need mentoring and help with the cost of supplies. We try to provide whatever forms of support may be necessary to enable her to carry her child to term and plan constructively for her care.
We are committed to creating an awareness within Delta County the pressures facing women and their families with unplanned pregnancies. Although we believe that abortion compounds, rather than solves the problems associated with unplanned pregnancies, our position is not to judge but rather to encourage and support healthy choices. For this reason we do not advise, provide or refer for abortion.
